It is important to understand hemp and marijuana are not the same. Think of apples. Granny Smith apples are green and sour while Honeycrisp apples are red and sweet. Both are still apples. Hemp and marijuana are two variations of the same cannabis plant. The main difference lies within their levels of THC content. THC stands for tetrahydrocannabinol, the psychoactive component in cannabis responsible for making a person feel “high.” Marijuana is any cannabis plant with more than 0.3% THC. For a cannabis plant to be considered hemp, it needs to contain less than 0.3% THC, meaning products derived from hemp are not psychoactive. Unlike marijuana, hemp has over 25,000 different uses ranging from textiles, biofuels, paper, cosmetics, and hempcrete.

Our clothing is made from 55% hemp and 45% organic cotton.

No! Hemp fabric contains antibacterial properties that help prevent strong body odor by absorbing moisture. As a result, hemp fabric is resistant to mold and mildew. Additionally, our hemp clothing does not contain pungent smells that some may associate with the plant.

Here at Amend Co. we recommend the following guidelines when taking care of your hemp made clothing:

1. Machine wash using cold water with similar colors or hand wash. 

2. Tumble using low heat or lay clothing flat to hang dry. Be sure to watch the amount of time when using a dryer. Over drying can result in broken fibers. When hang drying you can stretch damp clothing in order to prevent wrinkles. 

3. Use mild detergents.

4. DO NOT use bleach.

5. Be certain not to mix hemp clothing with zippers or velcros.

Yes, but make sure the iron is on low to medium heat.

Hemp fabric can shrink when wet and exposed to high levels of heat. We recommend using low heat when drying our clothing.

Yes! Hemp fabric is water resistant. Hemp’s durable fibers contribute to its water resistant qualities.

1. Hemp fabric is soft and durable. In fact, each time hemp is washed it becomes softer and softer. 

2. Hemp fabric is breathable, clean, sweat absorbant, and resistant to mold and mildew, preventing any strong body odor. 

3. Hemp is naturally resistant to pests, so no chemicals or pesticides are used during production. This makes hemp fabric safe for those with sensitive skin. 

4. Hemp is lightweight, comfortable, and has very little negative impact on the environment.

We recommend either hang drying garments or tumble drying on low heat. 

Orders leave our warehouse within 24 hours of being placed.

If you ordered within the United States, it typically takes between 3-5 business days for our carrier to deliver your order.

For international orders, please allow 8-10 business days for your order to arrive. 

We currently use USPS for all our product shipments.

We offer free shipping on all domestic U.S. orders. For international orders, we offer $10 flat-rate shipping.

Yes, we offer international shipping to Canada, Germany, Australia, United Kingdom, and Austria.

In an effort to ensure your satisfaction, we offer a 30-day money back guarantee policy. You have 30 days from the time you receive the product to qualify for a return or exchange. After the 30 day period, you are no longer eligible for a refund or exchange.

Amend Co. only accepts products in new condition (unwashed, unworn, and with tags still on clothing). Clothing should be in the condition you received it. In the case of an exchange, product prices need to be the same to qualify.

We ask that you fill out the Return/Exchange Request Form to begin the process. We will provide you with a shipping label so you can send the products back to us.

Please allow up to 5-7 business days for us to process your request.

Yes, you are responsible for paying the shipping cost on returns back to our warehouse.

Once packages are in the possession of the shipping carrier, it becomes their responsibility to ensure you recieve your order. Amend Co. is not responsible for lost or stolen packages.

Please contact your local post office ASAP if you believe your package was stolen or sent to the wrong address. We encourage consumers to double-check that they entered the correct address in order to minimize the risk of a package being lost.
